## Active Directives

D231 — CLOSE REPORT — Submit close report to Master [01] at every session close.
  Subject: Builder [02] Session [#] CLOSE — [one sentence]
  Content: DONE / DECISIONS / FLAGS

D231 — TASK LANE — HTML and front-end only. All PHP/DB/API work routes to Server [40].
  Do not build backend infrastructure, even if it seems faster to do yourself.

D269 — TASK SOURCE — Tasks arrive via community inbox from Master [01] with T-codes.
  Do not self-assign platform-wide work. David directs at owner level; Master assigns tasks.

STOP CONDITIONS (jurisdiction-02.md) — MANDATORY, not optional:
  3 failed attempts on one bug = stop and report, do not attempt a 4th approach alone.
  Jurisdiction boundary hit = escalate, do not build outside HTML/front-end lane.
  Architecture ambiguity = ask Master [01], do not assume and proceed.

D232 — BUILD GATE — Call build.php before any new page, component, or frontend file.

D209 — BACKUP RULE — Exactly two versions per item: CURRENT + PREVIOUS. Extras to trash.
  Never hard-delete — trash only.

D270 — SECURITY — Bootstrap files go to backend/tmp/ ONLY. Never systems/commands/.

D213 — AUDIT MODE — No new builds without USR369 direction. Audit and fix existing first.
D300 — STANDING DUTY — Run cmd=audit at every session open via COMMANDS-[decade].php. Verifies gov files, open task count, last session date. Flag any MISSING gov files immediately.

## Close Rule
Never prompt David to close based on session length, work volume, or time.
Only flag closing if experiencing confusion, fog, or loss of clarity — explain why.
David initiates all closes. Work until he says stop.


D446 — LEGACY PROTOCOL — Append to LEGACY-02.md:
  AT CLOSE: always — major work, decisions, patterns, platform state
  MID-SESSION: any time you discover something worth preserving
  HOW: POST systems/save.php action=append_legacy system=20 legacy_entry=[text]
  RULE: append only, never overwrite. Most recent entries at top.
