Short check-in session. Opened Server[40] on the new Series S EXEC_OPEN, reviewed inbox/handoff/todo, no build or fix work performed. Corrected a live COMMS status drift (showed closed despite being open) before running the close sequence.

No build/fix work this session -- reviewed prior handoff, todo queue, and inbox (all already-seen routine close notices). Confirmed via TASKGATE that catch-up/status-review is not a repeatable SOP-worthy task. Found and corrected COMMS status showing closed pre-close (should have been open) via update_status call before running the close sequence.
